That photo is me at 19! 40 years ago I set up my gear in my parents’ South Florida living room for a photo shoot.
Today I’m Kickstarting a remixed re-release of my electronic music cassette from November 1985 when I lived in Florida, Islands. My 8th album was the first to include guest musicians. It’s proto-BlackTape: Oscar sings on two tracks, Lara plays processed violins on a number of tracks, and Kim sings backing on one. Along with my electronics, right there you have the core of the band from The Rope debut, released 8 months after Islands.
